Mt. Takao offers a wonderful hiking experience for you and your canine companion. Your dog can join you on the cable car, provided they are in a fully enclosed carrier or buggy – large dogs are welcome too, though a small fee applies for the carrier. While the lift is strictly off-limits, the mountain boasts various scenic trails perfect for exploring with your furry friend. To enjoy a more peaceful visit, we recommend heading out on weekdays or early mornings.
